The worker productivity has skyrocketed since the '80s, and yet these people have bribed politicians on both sides of the aisle to keep wages stagnant so that they can maximize their profit and power (another piece of fuckery made possible by ronald fucking reagan), and you're out here defending them? Some truly sorry motherfuckers you are, give those waffle house workers their raise without raising a single penny on anything on the menu.
