Nefertiti's ring!!
This dazzling golden ring was found in the Amarna area in Minya (where Akhenaten and Nefertiti lived) more than 3,300 years ago. Therefore, perhaps this precious ring is the ring of Nefertiti herself!
Here we see the circular ring frame decorated with two cartouches surmounted by a crown of feathers (ostrich feathers). Inside the two cartouches we see the deity (Bes) - the Lord of fun and pleasure - in the ancient Egyptian faith. (Bes) had a great relationship with women. Because he was helping them in the labor process and caring for young children, so his appearance on women’s rings is a natural thing.
This beautiful ring is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York
Modern jazz steel pan is well represented by Andy Norrell and Victor Provost, but let's not forget who proceeded these two. After all, the steel pan instrument was created by the brothers in Trinidad and Tobago. The 'Kings' of steel pan are Winston 'Spree' Simon (Trinidad), Ellie Mannette (Trinidad), Anthony 'Muffman' Williams (Trinidad), and Bertie Marshall (Trinidad).
