Up in the brown soil…

It’s where we left our bodies
Lay to rest…finally, our love

We left past in our own history books…

My spirit can only fall for many parts of you….

Among the stars and planets…

I’m not sure how many lives we lived
It’s more than nine…

Cos we left so many
Ancient bones everywhere
Buryin through the ashes, the sand, and grasses
And we came birthin to life again
Separately but lovin each other deeply…

We’re soulmates
Bloomin
Into a wildest flower
From a garden….

I knew my heart beats your name…
Over and over and over….
And the whole sky acknowledges our story…
I dreamt you into my thoughts…

If we both died at the same time or hours apart
Or days apart, even if we don’t meet at all…
Our love will still love, that’s how powerful it is….
Through death, our love will keep us flyin like birds…

Yes our ancient bones were left upon each spot
the archaeologists will study our tale of romance
On these skeletons of ours…

Then leave ancient bones
In the hospitals in the caskets….

For me, I've noticed our collective will fight with each other about what we call ourselves. I'm not black I'm this, I'm not that I'm this, etc. The one thing undisputable is science. Melanin. You can't say I'm not melanin dominant and your dark as midnight. This is why I refer to us as melanated.
