We as a People, for the most part, do not think strategically nor tactically, and this is one of our major obstacles towards solving our day-to-day problems and moving forward as a People. I ask: Why would you wait to the last minute to prepare yourself or your family? Especially when you know every year there existsthe potential for a natural disaster or major crisis. I ask: Do you really value your safety and that of your family? Because, if you do, your action/response(s) is not indicative of such values. - Abdul Olugbala Shakur (The Afrikan - American Community Emergency Response Network Manual)

🤣

Is he serious?

Is he serious?
Or is he just a dream?
Has a funny way of showin
His heart?
Maybe
I’m not his top notch
I’m not his light

Every time I say
We have somethin broken
He’s being romantic
Real quick
Why can he be so
Sweet everyday?

I don’t think
He’s serious
He’s not chasin
Me around
Only when I get mad…

When a man loves his woman
He follows her around
Chasin up and down
Down and up
Sayin and show her
How so easy she is,
To love….a man is like
How can you not adore her…

Yeah I don’t have any of that
In him, I don’t think I drive him
Wild…

Is he serious?
Might be serious in his own way…

I don’t know…

What if another beautiful woman
Captures his heart?
And he shows all his seriousness to her
Instead…

I would honestly cry..
Cos after all this time
He wasn’t that serious with me
And I was a fool… 🫶🏾💙 ©️ Kai C. 7-27-23

"As long as any 'problem' exists in the known universe, all people who are aware of the existence of the 'problem' have a duty to solve the 'problem' even if it is said that the 'problem' cannot be 'solved'."
