what are you reading that’s leading to or feeding your freedom?

If I ever meet you in person
And ask you to go on a date
With me like I invite you to the
Dance that’s comin
Would you come?
I would be nervous
I might stutter
I might get a little shaky
Cos it’s been a while
I forgot how to ask
Somebody to on a date…

I should know…

Would you say yes
In despite all of this?

Maybe…
Maybe not….

I daydreamed
About it
About how I word askin
You to be my date to the dance

Do you like to sway?
Or stand still?
Or somethin?

I don’t know
What to expect
At the same time
I admit that my expectations
Are high cos

If I go on any date with you,
I would love to go smoothly…
I shouldn’t expect to much
It does lead to disappointment…

I want to go on a date
With you
Have our first kiss
Holdin hands
Dancin
Romancin
Then you take me by the door
And gaze into my dark brown eyes
We have a good time tonight
We decide to go on a second date
Relationship is buildin and buildin

I want to bond with
You…I want to do everythin
With you…
