It amazes me that the gay pride flag conceived by Gilbert Baker in 1978 is excepted and flown with honor worldwide to identify those proud in the LGBTQ community and sometimes met with resistance from right winged hard liners and racist. The Red, Black and Green Pan-African flag conceived by The Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey and the UNIA-ACL in 1920 is not looked at worldwide for truly what it stands for, UNITY, AFRICAN PRIDE and LIBERATION FOR ALL AFRICANS WORLDWIDE. There are nine countries in Africa and one in the Caribbean that have adopted those three colors in their countries flag. Besides those countries the flag is symbolic to many other countries as a threat of BLACK POWER, BLACK SUPREMACY and REBELLION trying to link the flag to hatred and separatist ideologies. Just know if we all stood under a unifying banner of AFRICAN PRIDE together as ONE nothing could stand in our way or stop us as a VERY PROUD PEOPLE. ✊🏽🟥⬛🟩
