If you have or havent started your food storeage yet i have a challenge for you. Everytime you go out to buy something, get one extra item for storing. Example; if you go grocery shopping buy one extra bag of rice or beans. Another example; if you go grab snacks get a case or gallon of water. Building backup food and water storage isnt a one shot deal it takes time.
