I have a minor problem with MP. When I upload a video, whether it's a minute or 10 seconds, it takes like 5-10 whole minutes for it to be uploaded.

If you haven't prepared for when S.H.T.F. with at least a bug out bag or some type of strategy to ensure the safety and continuation of you and yours, then that means you've accepted whatever failure this country has in store for you.
