Is it just Me or Is it Conditioning?
Is it just me or is it conditioning that even when I am being properly compensated, the energy at work is always like a plantation.
My opinion is ignored.
Contributions overloooked.
Knowledge demeaned.
Though I get paid more than many at my job, unbeknownst to them, the fact they seem to be giving me their back is getting to me.
Or is this normal behavior to an out of towner who "thinks he knows it all"

Building institutions for our communities require support for our people. Even when things are not going the way we thibk they should. Once we get it in our mind that it is always the community first we will be able to compete in the global race.
Support our black businesses especially if they are free.
I wish you were at the dance with me
Last night
We’d have so much fun swayin
Kissin on the dance floor
You and I
Music so loud, laughin in the air
I wanna dance with you
On a Friday night
Before we make love..
I wanna do a twist and turn
Side to side
Spin us around,
Do the steps
Romancin away my love
Into our own stars
And into our own hearts
I wish you were at the dance with me
Last night….

I haven't posted a product review, an interview, or a blog post in quite a while. I even took my website down and haven't decided when to rerurn to what I love: promoting Black-Owned Businesses.
Truth is, Black people aren't genuinely interesting is economic freedom. Black consumers don't want to circulate the Black dollar and Black business owners are often crabs in a barrel who only want to get rich.
Then I remember the small wins. Stories like these give me hope. If you feel inclined, please watch and leave me a comment:
