Boko Haram Attack On Chad's Presidential Palace Thwarted!

On January 8, 2025, Boko Haram militants launched an attack on the presidential palace in N'Djamena, Chad, resulting in a significant clash with Chad's security forces.

Chad ended defence and security agreements with Paris, calling them "obsolete." This statement has something to do with it.
The attack was repelled, leading to casualties on both sides. Government officials have since declared the situation under control, with ongoing investigations into how such an attack was possible.
