Learn who you are and be proud with dignity. When I grew up the pictures the showed me in the books were not so appeasing to the eyes. Yes we were laughed at, called names, running from rocks and everything else. Remember mirrors were not in many houses because of superstition. We didn't know how we looked for many of us.
