As weird and scary as most people who aren’t familiar with this tradition might look, it’s actually quite interesting. These young boys are practicing in participating in the Guérewol festival. The Guérewol festival is an annual competition amongst men that takes place in Niger 🇳🇪 and Chad 🇹🇩 who tries seeking marriages in young women. By doing so, they dress up in elaborate clothings and paint their faces and singing and dances hoping to attract women.
