These thoughts are sad
For a black person to think
Like this, when he or she
Looks into the mirror
And see how terrible
He or she thinks
He or she is....

Don't like face
Coils
Big nose
Wide mouth
Round huge booty...

Hate
Your melanin in your flesh
Like
You're dehumanizin
Yourself just like
White supremacy taught you
You hate the way you talk
The way you behave
So clearly

You act white as possible as
You come....
You told the world
You're white
Well your soul is white....

You talk bad
About yourself only to
Make European look good...
You told your own people
To leave white folks alone
And slavery was a long time ago...

You truly wanted
To impress white man
Ever since
You're a little kid...
You never heard about the doll
Test....if you do, you would pick
The bad doll, the black one
Your self hate
Starts at home
Starts with your parents
Who are also coonin for
White folks...

You start
Develop
Thoughts and Feelings
Of anti black
Not only that
You don't understand
The systematic racism.....
How it works....

You stay in
Your ignorance
Your cognitive dissonance
You don't care.....
You agree with Jim Crow
You shook your head to
No African American curriculum
In the classroom....

Yet
On the inside
You felt angry
You want reparations
Even though
You said it out loud
Black people shouldn't get the check....

You think
African spirituality
Is a demon...
You love white Jesus
You love goin to church
Yet you ain't a great Christian
You lie you cheat

You have no dignity
And respect
For your black self
Your own race....

It's why
You're being introduced
Anti black
As a child,
Like
White supremacy gave you
A bleachin cream
For the first time
So you can cover your
Whole spirit up
With whiteness....
