This happened to me a few days ago. I was sitting in the bathroom on the toilet for a few hours, maybe 4 hours smoking my weed vape and I think it was a combination of being exhausted from being up that morning from 3 AM to 3 AM and not going to sleep or taking a nap throughout the day. I felt lightheaded while sitting upright and my vision started fading. I immediately attributed to the weed and didn’t panic too much. I left and went to my room, luckily no one was awake at the time, laid in my bed for a few minutes, removed my AirPods, and noticed my hearing was all congested. But after a few moments it started to clear up and I could swear I was hearing in super HD the way everything sounded so crisp and I felt really good.
Perhaps you can say I had a “weed breakthrough.”
However, I did hear that this can happen to you if one of your hair follicles in your ear dies when you hear high pitched ringing out of the blue even if you’re in a quiet space.
I will be trying this again but on purpose, for science.
