Learn who you are and be proud with dignity. When I grew up the pictures the showed me in the books were not so appeasing to the eyes. Yes we were laughed at, called names, running from rocks and everything else. Remember mirrors were not in many houses because of superstition. We didn't know how we looked for many of us. But in my mom's room she had one. But we were never allowed to enter her room. Understand that we were looked up on as the dirtiest, ugliest form of humans to the world. Caucasian were the beautiful! I said to myself one day we will prove you wrong and we did our part. I still do. You say we want attention you damn straight and get it. Proving to them we are THE EVE-GENE AND STILL REIGN SUPREME.
