His name is Ralph Yarl.
He’s a brilliant, talented, kind, outgoing 16 year old boy from a wonderful family who was shot twice by a white man when Ralph rang the doorbell to pick up his young siblings.
Police said that Ralph was picking up his siblings at a house on N.E. 115th Terrace, but mistakenly went to a house on N.E. 115th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
And the white homeowner shot Ralph once through the glass front door. Then shot him again in the head to make sure he was dead. By a complete miracle, Ralph has SURVIVED and is recovering.
This homeowner needs to be arrested IMMEDIATELY. He should have been arrested the day this happened.
THIS IS NOT A MAN STANDING HIS GROUND. This is NOT a stand your ground case. A young Black boy HAS THE RIGHT to accidentally go to 115th Street instead of 115th Terrace WITHOUT BEING SHOT. Period.
Police took the shooter in, THEN LET HIM GO. Let him destroy most of the evidence, and have not charged him.
